Dr. Wayne McEntire, Administrator
I am excited to be at King’s Academy this year and know God has placed me here for a purpose. I began my journey at the age of 28 teaching Bible to high school students in Houston. My wife and I homeschooled our older children while living in Gainesville, Texas because there was not a full-service service Christian school available. We found it to be a family-friendly alternative to conventional schooling. While living in Gainesville, I heard about the University-model school, but we were not at a point in our family life to launch a school. Now, with our younger children, we look forward to sending our children to King’s Academy. I have taught, worked as a Principal in a Christian school, and pastored a church, and hold degrees in theology and religious education from Louisiana College, New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. My wife, Kyla, and I have been married for 28 years and have five children and one grandchild.
Erin Baggs, Director of Family Ministries
I have been at KACS for 13 years, both at the administrative level and as a parent. God has birthed this model in my heart. I am passionate about students knowing their identity in Christ and encouraging families to be intentional with the time God has given them with their children. Prior to KACS, I worked in Arlington ISD in personnel. I have no greater joy than to hear that our students are walking in the truth! 3 John 1:4.
Vickie Williams, Dean of Curriculum and Academic Advisor
I am teaching Upper Campus sciences, and serve as the Dean of Curriculum & Instruction, Academic Adviser and Cheer Coach. I am a graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio, and I am beginning my 33 year of teaching, 23 of which have been in the Christian school setting. I have served in many capacities, but most of my teaching experience is in the math and science classrooms.
